THE ROOTS PRESENTS The Jam: June 15th and 21st, 2010

I really enjoyed these shows and was so grateful to be there. The Roots are on top of their game and the music is fantastic. I really dug the funky jams and Black Thought is clearly one of the best Emcees in the game. Questlove sharply led this troupe of masterful musicians, marking the release of the anticipated album "How I Got Over". Word. The bass heavy jams floated from jazzy brass laden standards to classic boom bap joints to creative melodic new pieces. Good times.
